The Freeborn County Sheriff's Office is lead by the Sheriff and his Chief Deputy. They oversee 7 separate departments within the Sheriff's Office. The departments consist of Investigations, Patrol, Dispatch, Adult Detention Center, Records, Civil Process and Emergency Management.
