The Recorder’s Office is responsible for all legal records pertaining to:
- Real Estate
- Birth Certificates
- Death Certificates
- Marriage Certificates
- Marriage Licenses
- Marriage Officiant Registration
- Notary Public Registration
- State / Federal Tax Liens
Location
The office is located on the first floor of the Freeborn County Government Center in the center of the South Annex, between Public Health, Auditor / Treasurer, and Assessor.
